Renée Ridley, B.A., is an author of unflinching grit. Through Times Five, she emerges as a vital voice for the complexities of survival and the lifelong navigation of trauma. Renée is an Ohio native who believes that understanding the human journey is her highest calling. With a degree in both Education and Child Psychology, she dedicated her career to championing those with developmental disabilities. Renée empowers people of all ages to navigate life’s hurdles with faith, dignity, and strength. 

Renée’s love for movies, music and books propels her unique storytelling into real-life experiences.  As an empath, she explores the minds of the characters in her writing to share with her readers.  

When she isn’t writing, Renée navigates the beautiful realities of her own life, grounded by her roles as a mother, a caregiver, and a woman paving her own path. She writes for the survivors, the seekers, and everyone who knows that the hardest-won light is the one found in the dark.
